How to Clean Glass
- Start from the top to prevent drips from dirtying areas you’ve already cleaned
- Do not clean in direct sunlight
- Use the right tools such as a squeegee, microfiber cloths, and glass cleaner
- Avoid abrasive materials as they can scratch the glass
- Dry all cleaning solution from window gaskets, sealants and frames
How to Clean Hardware
- Use a clean, soft, damp cloth to polish and remove fingerprints from window and door hardware
- Avoid using household cleaners, window cleaning solutions, or polishes unless specifically recommended by the hardware manufacturer
- Keep keys, rings, and other sharp objects from striking the hardware
How to Clean Screens
- Take the screens out and use a soft brush or a vacuum with an attachment to remove loose dirt and debris
- Spray off any dust and debris with clean water and clean thoroughly
- Allow the screens to air dry completely before reinstalling them to prevent mold and mildew.
- Always work from the exterior when removing and replacing door screens
How to Clean Everwood®
- Clean the surface with a damp cloth
- Use a gentle soap like Dawn
®to clean Everwood®. - Wipe down with a dry cloth and allow the surface to thoroughly dry
- Do not sand the surface
